This is my draft for the final presentation. I edited the color a little bit, trying to make it look brighter to add contrast. I also made some corrections to the purse, but I'm still struggling with it. I eliminated the doll icon because it does not send the clear message about the set and its theme.
The colors I chose serve two purposes: the pink connotes femininity and warmth and the deep navy adds contrast and depth.

I agree the change purse still needs work. Perhaps more symmetry (the interior details and outside edge on the right could be nearly-mirrored on the left). Keep smoothing the base even more than you did in this last revision to help clarify.
