The green is just a highlighting color. I have not thought of the color scheme yet, but I'm thinking it should be as simple as possible, because of the multi-colored nature of the tattoos.
I am not sure about the picture window on some pages. I also HATE the body copy typeface (event description), but I think we should discuss that tomorrow.
