The assignment was to illustrate an article from the article from the Mother Jones magazine called Fiscal Therapy.
Among other things, the article talks about the unfair taxes and the inefficient spending of the taxpayers' money. The big clay pot symbolizes a bottomless hole that people line up to throw their money into nowhere.
