Paula Scher poster

This is my final poster for designer research for typography. My designer was Paula Scher. To support typographic information we were supposed to take pictures of Vanderslice Hall in KCAI in a way that our designer would see it. I chose one of the floral-shaped chandeliers that has a lot of details, but is still structured. That is exactly what Paula's Design is: very lively but structured and systematic.  The glowing lamp that transforms into the letters of the designer's last name is a conscious choice. The fiery quality of the photograph symbolizes Scher's dynamic and inspirational design.  The white highlights connect the image with type. The vertical bands that enclose the  Paula's name and secondary information help the legibility and add a graphic element that ties the composition together.
