My color choices in the placards reminded me of Hugo Boss for men. I really like the red accent they have in every product they have that references the brand. I'm pretty sure I've seen an ad where a red accent (maybe the logo) was placed on the b/w photograph. I guess it subconsciously got into my placards.
I think the b/w + red combination is very masculine, which is not tying in with my overall theme, so even though I do like the red accents, for my placards I'll probably choose a more subtle treatment.
