I heard that Mother's day was initially a holiday created by greeting card companies. Maybe so, but it's a nice tradition to honor the one person we've known from our very first second of existence. I wish this holiday would be about not just moms but women in general. Either way I'm happy to see the social media burst with congratulations to moms, childhood pictures and respect.
P.S. It seems like it's becoming a tradition to take pictures of my cat next to flowers or smelling them.
